Active Marc Cymru
ActiveMarc Cymru is awarded to schools that can demonstrate a commitment to developing high quality PE and School Sport. It focuses on the quality of provision and high standards achieved in the school.
Wales Quality Award Overall Winner
This Award recognises excellence in the school across nine different criteria measured against the European Quality model. Winners are regarded as being outstanding in their field and when measured against other submissions from outside education.
Careers Wales
The Careers Wales Mark: Continuous Quality Improvement accredits establishments that have demonstrated they have active procedures in place to ensure a continuous improvement in outcomes for learners.
Healthy Schools
A health promoting school is one which actively promotes and protects the physical, mental and social health and well-being of its community through positive action by such means as policy, strategic planning and staff development.
Teaching Award
The Teaching Awards were established in 1999 by David, Lord Puttnam CBE, as a means of recognising and celebrating excellence in education. The Awards honour outstanding teachers and teaching and highlight just how vital success in education is to the health and wealth of the UK.
