Performing Arts Easter Eggstravaganza Concert

Over 50 pupils took part in the Performing Arts Department Easter Eggstravaganza concert on Tuesday 20th March. The event saw singers and instrumentalist performing music in all styles and from all eras in front of a sell-out audience in Studio One. Some of the highlights included a MAT group performance of the classic Nirvana song “Smells Like Teen Spirit”, Ffion Boa
rdman performing “La Donna e Mobile” on the flute, the brass group performing the Darth Vader theme from “Star Wars”, Tomos Bohanna singing “Elen Fwyn” and Alex Gardiner performing the jazz standard “Opus One” on the saxophone. The evening finished with a “circus” inspired performance of “The Greatest Show” choreographed and performed by the year 7 dancers.
