Yet another outstanding set of results for GCSE in 2015.
Ysgol Bryn Elian is once again celebrating a remarkable set of GCSE results, adding to the great success of last week’s ‘A’ level results. In excess of 98 %of the school’s Year 11 students achieved at least the equivalent of 5 A*-C grades and all students leaving with at last the equivalent of 5 GCSE’s. The school’s results have broken all records for the main performance indicators and are the best in the school’s history. The staff, pupils and Governors are delighted with the outstanding results achieved.
With so many students gaining such a high volume of higher grades, it is difficult to single out individual students. However congratulations go to:
The Headteacher, Mrs E Hughes, said, “Yet again we have seen further improvement in our already commendable history of results. We are very proud of all the young people who have worked so hard and tirelessly. We are very much looking forward to seeing them back in our successful sixth form in September. Bryn Elian’s success comes from offering our students a varied and appropriate curriculum, offset by our support systems in school and also our intensive mentoring package. Thanks go to all the staff for all their hard work and excellent teaching of these Year 11 students.”
